A very unique stage

Towpath Productions is a floating concert company. We provide live music from the decks of historic boats on the Oxford Canal. Sometimes we meander down the canal – and sometimes we moor at Mount Place in Jericho.

We host a wide variety of musicians. From folk to classical to jazz to renaissance to rock – and live poetry gets a look in, too.

Most of the music is original. We love nothing more than giving a voice to musicians who pour their guts into writing their own magnificent music.

From April to October – last Sunday

Even though performance dates flex with the weather, we aim to host a concert on the last Sunday afternoon of each month from April to October. But keep your eye on Instagram – we squeeze in other dates when we simply can’t resist it (or when a favourite performer is in town).

Covid compliant events

We are completely compliant with Covid guidelines. All performances are outdoors and performers are restricted according to the prevailing government rules.

Free music for all 

We always insist on paying the performers, but we never charge the punters. All our events are FREE. We are doing this to provide musicians with a place to play and be paid – and for the community to engage with the canal.
